On January 21, a delegation led by President Professor Wang Tinghuai of Guangzhou Xinhua College visited Serbia and paid an official visit to the Belgrade Faculty of Business Economics and Entrepreneurship. The visit aimed to further strengthen Chinese-Serbian higher education cooperation and expand international pathways for academic collaboration.

During the Belgrade visit to, the two institutions engaged in in-depth discussions on multi-level cooperation and reached a series of important consensuses. Representatives from PEP Belgrade included Professor Vladan Cogoljević, Vice President for international cooperation; Professor Zoran Radulović, Director and authorized representative of the PEP Belgrade; and Professor Aleksandra Tošović Stevanović, Head of the International Affairs Office.

The Belgrade Business and Entrepreneurship Academy is a well-known higher education institution in Serbia and is officially recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education. With strong academic foundations and distinctive strengths in business studies, economics, and entrepreneurship education, VSPEP’s academic resources and international cooperation experience provide a solid basis for future collaboration between the two institutions.

During the meeting, President Wang Tinghuai introduced the educational philosophy and international development achievements of Guangzhou Xinhua College. He emphasized that the university has consistently adhered to an open and internationalized approach to education, and that cooperation with Serbian institutions represents an important opportunity to further enhance its international talent cultivation system.

Focusing on joint talent development and academic exchange, the two sides conducted detailed discussions on key cooperation areas, including student semester exchanges, joint master’s degree programs, opportunities for students to pursue master’s degrees in Serbia, in-service doctoral studies for faculty members, and short-term mutual visits and exchanges for both faculty and students.

The meeting achieved substantial outcomes. President Wang Tinghuai and Professor Zoran Radulović, President of PEP, formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding on International Educational Cooperation between the two institutions. This milestone marks the official establishment of a friendly cooperative relationship and provides a core framework for future pragmatic collaboration.

Notably, during the meeting, VSPEP formally invited Guangzhou Xinhua College to participate in an international academic conference scheduled for October 2026, which is expected to bring together representatives from universities in more than ten countries, offering a high-level platform for academic exchange. President Wang also extended a sincere invitation for PEP Faculty's representatives to visit Guangzhou Xinhua College at an appropriate time to further deepen bilateral exchanges.

This visit represents an important step in Guangzhou Xinhua College’s internationalization strategy. It not only expands the university’s global cooperation network but also creates diversified development opportunities for faculty and students, contributing to the cultivation of internationally minded, interdisciplinary talents.
