Prof. Dr. Miljana Barjakatrović is a full professor in the narrow scientific fields of Economics and Finance, Banking and Insurance. She received her PhD in 2007 from the "Braća Karić" University in Belgrade, where she completed her undergraduate studies in 1998. She completed her master's studies at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade in 2003. She acquired the titles of teaching associate, assistant professor, assistant professor and associate professor at the University "Braća Karić" and the title of full professor in 2015 at Alpha BK University. At the same University, she performed the functions of vice-dean for scientific research, dean, president of the Quality Commission, president of the University Accreditation Commission, member of the Commission for doctoral studies, etc. From 2016 to 2020, she performed the function of Vice-Rector for Teaching at Alpha BK University. In the period from 2010-2020. led the preparation of over 30 studies for the accreditation of study programs, institutions and scientific research activities of the University. She has published over 70 scientific and professional papers, in domestic and international journals and anthologies, as well as several textbooks and monographs in the field of finance, banking and insurance.
